The month of November is traditionally dedicated to the Holy souls in Purgatory. The Hallowtide Triduum begins on All Hallows’ Eve (Halloween or “Undas”) followed by All Saints Day and All Souls’ Day. The season of Holy Souls directs our reflection of our own mortality and celebrating and mourning those who have gone before us. Our prayer: Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.”
